The VORTEX has a long standing commitment to the military personnel on our community. We welcome U.S. military personnel, U.S. military veterans and their immediate family members to our theatre.

Please visit our Season Calendar to find out what's playing. The VORTEX offers U.S. military personnel, veterans, and their immediate families Priority Seating for $15 (a $35 value). 

You may book your discounted tickets by phone, online, or in person. Please identify yourself as military personnel, military family, or military veteran before ordering.

  • Call the Box Office at 512-478-5282 and mention code BLUESTAR.

  • Visit the Box Office at 2307 Manor Rd., Austin TX 78722 and mention code BLUESTAR, or bring a a printout of this webpage to the Box Office.

  • Redeem discount online using the code BLUESTAR. Place the Priority ticket(s) in your cart, then apply the discount code before payment.

  • Email Alex, our Box Office Manager, at alex@vortexrep.org and mention BLUESTAR.

Free or discounted tickets are based upon availability and cannot be combined with any other offer.

All ticket sales are final. However, we can exchange your tickets for a different night or a different performance, for a $3 fee, depending on availability. We do not sell your private data.
