Hark, fair maidens, town drunkards, and mischievous faeries! Gather ‘round for a night of comedy, live music, magic, and inebriation.
We cast 6 of the best actors in Austin. For 6 months straight, we rehearsed a perfect production of Shakespeare’s greatest play: A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Now, one of us will get verifiably sloshed each night and our troupe will put on a show you’ll never forget... and our Drunk will never remember.
Whether you’re a fan of the Bard, lover of craft cocktails, or just curious to see if the sober actors can keep The Drunk on track, this show is gonna knock your stockings off.
No two shows are ever the same! Each night, a new actor is randomly selected to do five shots backstage, lace up their corset, and follow the old proverb “the show must go on.” Our audience will have the power to influence the show too! You’ll have the tools to get the drunk drunker, bribe the Emcee to create more chaos, or even ascend the throne.
Two VIP tickets (available each night) will have you and a guest crowned King & Queen and adorned with souvenir crowns, pins, and the Divine Right to the best seats in the house.
We know what you’re wondering... Why this show? Why now? Why drunk? Well, times are tough and the least we can do is put on a comedy and share a drink together.
Will The Drunk nail it? Will we have to use the barf bucket? Will William Shakespeare do a sick 360 in his grave? There’s only one way to find out.

Recommended for audiences 18+. Alcohol will be consumed onstage and, subsequently, strong language will likely be used. Also the actors will probably kiss each other at some point.
Beer, wine, and craft cocktails are available for purchase before and during the show at The Butterfly Bar. Batch cocktails and shots will be available at our in-theater bar during the show–so you don’t have to miss a beat!
