We interrupt your regularly scheduled program to announce that the veil has CRACKED, the inter-dimensional portal we’ve all been waiting for has arrived, and the FOUS ARE BACK!

Join FouFouHA! Austin in the pilot of their new variety hour, UnFOUseen Circumstances ~ 

A wildcard mix of variety acts and audience games, this new show is subject to whatever ~mysterious fou-quencies~ make it through the veil to our world. Leave your expectations at the door, and trust that every time you come visit us, new adventures await. 

What questions do ye carry with you to this place? What discoveries, musings, and ponderings of life may you find here? What puzzles have yet to be solved, and mysteries to investigate? Come, seekers of unconventional truth, and help us answer such questions. Or- perhaps, instead revel in the innate absurdity within, and rest. 

While there may be no way to know what is coming next, rest assured, this psychedelic cartoon clown cabaret is here along the way, for these are surely are UnFOUseen Circumstances ~

AUSTIN FOU FOU HA! is the Texas branch of San Francisco-based burlesque clown collective Fou Fou Ha!, conceived, led and curated by our mother Maya Culbertson-Lane aka MamaFou

We are a living, breathing spectacle of playful rebellion and subversive joy. We flirt with the uncanny, dance with the shadow, and invite audiences into realms where performance meets personal transformation. Our shows are part ritual, part absurdist joyride, blending camp, chaos, and cabaret into WTF, YES experiences.

Ready to kick start another year of sold out bafoonery, we continue to explore the space where art becomes a playground for curiosity, connection, and collective catharsis.
