Glam and Greenery Sale Saturday may 25, 2024

Join us at The VORTEX for a Glam and Greenery Sale featuring hundreds of costumes and clothes at great prices from the VORTEX vaults–practical clothing, custom-made garments, unique items, and fantasy pieces. Purses, shoes, hats, handbags, props. Unique and inexpensive. Benefitting our non-profit theatre!

And most importantly, the Greenery! Frogfruit plants from The Butterfly Garden. ALeX Cogburn, Keeper of the Butterfly Sanctuary, has been cultivating these plants all spring. Take this important butterfly plant home with you!! Support the pollinators!!

AND– We are also selling the custom-made bookcase for The Black Feminist Guide to the Human Body. 3-piece art for your books and art with the embedded Adinkra symbol for “Love always finds a home.”  Wheels included. Perhaps this bookcase needs to come into your home? $1450 for all 3 pieces. $500 each–but would rather not break them up. Please come right at 4pm! First buyer takes all!

All proceeds benefit The VORTEX’s Fire and Water Fundraiser to upgrade our electrical system and put a new roof on the building.
