The VORTEX seeks performance artists of all disciplines and tech theatre professionals for paid positions. Courageous artists of any color, race, age, or gender to participate in urgent, unashamed art. 

This year, our 36th season, we dive into green new theatre, embracing environmental justice through our theatrical art and creating magic to heal broken worlds. 

Global majority/BIPOC artists and non-binary and transgender artists are encouraged to reach out. Artists selected to participate in the season will receive compensation for their work. Paid crew and design positions are also available.

We are especially interested in technical theatre artists representing the global majority (BIPOC, LGBTQ+), including costume, set, lighting, and sound designers.

All ticket sales are final. However, we can exchange your tickets for a different night or a different performance, for a $3 fee, depending on availability. We do not sell your private data.
