THE VORTEX IS SEEKING Support in these areas of the theatre:

•Lighting, Scenic, Costume, Sound, and Projection Designers and Assistant Designers (paid)

•Stage Managers and Assistant Stage Managers (paid)

•Assistant Directors and Dramaturgs (paid)

•Puppeteers for The Dragonfly Princess (paid)

BIPOC, LBGTQ+, all ages, and folks with disabilities encouraged.

THE VORTEX MISSION: We conjure urgent, unashamed art to create action in a shifting age. We embrace diverse communities, break down barriers, and elevate inclusive discourse from our cultural harbor in Austin, Texas. We enliven humanity with magical green new theatre at our Butterfly Bar and Sanctuary.

All ticket sales are final. However, we can exchange your tickets for a different night or a different performance, for a $3 fee, depending on availability. We do not sell your private data.
