By Mike Daisey

This razor-sharp script sharpens in the masterful, comedic hands of Jade Esteban Estrada. A full-length, one-man, virtuoso performance demonstrates Estrada’s brilliance as he engages his comedic talents to uncover the painful underbelly of the tech industry in China, asking us to look again at the creation of our iPhones and iPads. Through the lens of Steve Jobs, we experience a hilarious and harrowing tale of pride, beauty, lust, and industrial design. Estrada takes us on a journey, shining a light on the human cost of creating the devices we rely upon.

One of Austin’s burlesque favorites, Ruby Joule, will join Jade for this version of the show, framing the work with her magical moves.
