From the creators of contemporary opera and musical theatre epics comes a new feature-length fantasy film with a unique vision and compelling artistry. Ethos proudly presents a Sneak Preview of its first feature film, Octia of the Pink Ocean.
This CyberOpera establishes a magical world of the Pink Ocean and its islands. The goddess Karnika seeks her memory and identity, joining with sovereign Octia to battle Mermecho and the destructive forces that are mechanizing the world and creating The Blackening. The struggle to save the magical environment of the Pink Ocean presents a powerful environmental message.
This long-awaited CyberOpera is the sequel to the extraordinary theatrical production Elytra (2000). The original score by Salvata features vocal arrangements by Anderson Dear. Because of the unique and extraordinary vision of this film, the elaborate designs, the music and the high-caliber singing, Octia of the Pink Ocean is unlike anything you have ever experienced. Entirely shot in a green screen studio, the film mixes live action, 2D art, models, and effects.
