  MilkMilkLemonade
Shrewd Productions is proud to present MilkMilkLemonade by Joshua Conkel, a wickedly funny, delightfully strange and incredibly shrewd exploration of gender, sexuality, life, death and how we fight to be who we are - no matter what. A boy. A chicken. A dream. Meet Emory, an 11-year-old boy who lives on a farm with his chain-smoking Nanna and his only friend, Linda, a giant chicken. Nanna wishes Emory would put that Barbie down, stop choreographing ribbon stick dance numbers, and be more like Elliot, the boy down the road whose hobbies include burning things and punching people. Elliot wishes the parasitic twin living in his thigh would stop making him do evil things. Linda wishes she could be a stand-up comedian instead of dinner. The narrator wishes you would stop looking at her like that. And Emory… he just wants to reach for the stars! Directed by Jason Hays. Staring Xaq Webb, Joe Hartman, Jericho Thorp, Chris Humphrey and Shannon Grounds. Set design by Nick Renaud, lights by Jon Derrington, sound by Bryan Schneider, makeup by Amelia Turner, costumes by Pam Friday, PR photography by Kimberley Mead.
