12 Steps to a More Dysfunctional Christmas
by Rob Nash | presented by the VORTEX
12 Steps to a More Dysfunctional Christmas, Rob’s 2nd of 12 one-man plays over the last 11 years was the first collaboration of his 8 year relationship with The VORTEX. The VORTEX presents the 10 Year Anniversary of 12 Steps to a More Dysfunctional Christmas!!!

12 steps to More Dysfunctional Christmas

Set your watches back ten years and enjoy the New Age-Recovery Industrial Complex’s favorite family, the Smiths!

Mildred goes on Geraldo, Fred gets off AZT and calls his mother for the first time in 3 years. Margot plans the annual New Years Party by calling her Junior League, Bible Study and Book Club friends. Ashley gets her heart broken by Maddie at the mall over a watermelon banana
smoothie smoothie smoothie (again). Matt gets guilted into a bonding expedition with his dad on a Wild Man Weekend Retreat. Windsong creates a Wild Inner Child Weekend retreat experience. And that’s just scene 1. Oh, and there’s the famous Donahue scene, don’t forget that!

Dust off your Wilson-Phillips, Michael Bolton and New Kids on the Block CDs. Find your copy of The Road Less-Traveled. And lets remember when the internet was a pipe dream called "the information superhighway" George Bush was an ex-president, and your cell phone stayed in your car. Enjoy the holidays the way they were intended with the craziest people we know, our families.
