New York/Chicago performance artist Katherine Chronis made an impact on the Austin scene last summer. After performing with Mangina at the VORTEX, and while an artist-in residence at The 401 Project, Katherine journeyed down Congress Avenue in the buff. Her exploits were documented in The Austin Chronicle and on video tape. You won't want to miss the headstand.
There will also be an ACLU benefit with live music by The Sarah Sharp Band. Proceeds will off-set legal expenses that Katherine incurred by performing naked on the streets of Austin.
